Dalston local group

Information

Dalston local group

Group for those who live in Dalston to discuss issues specifically relating to their local area

Members: 13
Latest Activity: Jan 3

This group needs a leader / facilitator

If you have a few hours a week spare to coordinate the activites of the Dalston local group please contact the site administrator and we will put your name and a link to your Ning profile here so people can contact you.

Ideally you'll be up for sitting on the odd steering group meeting too - so we're all singing off the same hymn sheet.

Anyone can put their ideas, vision, or links to relevant external content here - please do!

Everyone should be able to coordinate their meetings and events etc entirely via these pages but if you're having problems then contact me using the link above.

Yes I was thinking the Mill place is a good place to start. Well, although it's a Dalston thing, it's also a Food group thing and I hope they are going to be talking about that at their meeting tomorrow. Are you free to go to that meeting and raise the issue with them? Many of them are Dalston people also. When you say garden I take it you mean for food growing!?

I was told you, I was very interested in start doing some stuff in the daslton mill place as I think that it was a great project and it kept the dalston community together during the events.
Thus, I spoke with the French guy Nicolas and I told him about my idea to carry on with a project in the site. He told me that he is already working in a project and we could eventually join him. I think that this might be a great opportunity.
We set up a meeting when he comes to London (about two weeks) and we will discuss his project. I think that it would be interesting if the Dalston Community could meet up before that to discuss our intentions for the site and then when Nicolas comes to London we have already an idea about what we want. Eventually, we could write down these ideas and give to him.
What do you think? My idea initailly was a project for the garden area.

Yes lets! (Although I can't personally promise to be there as I'm a bit snowed under with LETS and this site at the mo, but that doesn't stop others...:)
What would be your suggested agenda?
